The Lindenwood men's basketball team defeated Ohio Valley by a final score of 108-73 in its final game of the Prairie Stars Tip-Off Classic from Springfield, Ill. for their second win in as many days. Six double-digit scorers, including
TJ Crockett's team-high 23-point performance, led the Lions offensively.
GAME OVERVIEW
Both teams came out trading the lead early in the game.
Anthony Christian opened the scoring for the Lions, scoring the team's first four points.
Kace Kitchell also chipped in a pair of early buckets. It was a back-and-forth game until Lindenwood gained some separation by going on a 9-0 run, which was capped off by a Crockett dunk to go up 32-23 at the 9:04 mark of the first half. The Lions defense was strong throughout the first half, forcing 11 Ohio Valley turnovers, which helped Lindenwood carry a 49-43 lead into halftime.
Lindenwood continued their momentum to open the second half, when its lead extended to 57-45 at the 17:11 mark of the second half. The Lions continued their offensive tear throughout the duration of the second half, connecting on 22-of-38 (57.9 percent) from the field. Lindenwood knocked down six-of-11 from behind the arc over the final 20 minutes of play, leading to the 108-73 victory.

Vijay Blackmon put together his best game in a Lindenwood uniform, providing 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting including 3-of-6 from deep.

- Lindenwood shot 51.3 percent from the field for the game, including 12-26 from three-point range.
- The Lions forced a season-high 21 turnovers, while committing only nine. The Lions scored 29 points off of their 21 forced turnovers.
- The Lindenwood bench provided 41 points.
- Scales and Barnes led the way on the glass by grabbing seven rebounds each.
