LINDENWOOD NOTES:
- Lindenwood opens a new era of Lions basketball with the program's first-ever GLVC contest as they take on Missouri-St. Louis. The Lions and Tritons played last season, with the Lions victorious 82-66 at Hyland Arena. 
- Lindenwood played Quincy last week in a non-conference matchup. The Lions topped the Hawks 71-48 in Quincy, Ill. Lindenwood was led by Hennessey Handy who scoring 18 points. Kallie Bildner collected a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Julia Ruzevich was a standout defensively, collecting six steals, tied for the sixth-most in a single game in Lindenwood history. 
- Earlier this season, Kallie Bildner grabbed her 856th career rebound, setting the Lindenwood mark for career rebounds. The senior now has 883 career rebounds, third among all active NCAA DII student-athletes. 
- Kallie Bildner was named the GLVC Player of the Week on November 18. She is the first Lion to earn a GLVC award. 
- Against Pittsburg State on November 13, Bildner scored 35 points, the most scored by a Lion in the NCAA era of Lindenwood Athletics. The Lindenwood record for points in a game in the NAIA is 41 points. 
- The Lions boast one of the top perimeter defenses in NCAA DII. Lindenwood is third nationally, holding opponents to 19.6% shooting from beyond the arc. 
- Lindenwood returns two starters from last year's team that went 21-8, advancing to the Central Regional for the second consecutive season. Leading the returners is Kallie Bildner, who led the MIAA in points, rebounds and shooting percentage. Also returning is starting point guard Lindsay Medlen who tallied 90 assists a year ago. 
- The Lions are led by second-year head coach Katie Falco. She joined Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. In her first season at the helm, she led the Lions to a 21-8 overall record, setting the Lindenwood NCAA single-season win record and earning the program's first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. 

UMSL NOTES:
- The Tritons enter the game 3-3 this season, most recently hosting the UMSL Thanksgiving Classic last weekend. UMSL fell to Newman 62-58 before beating Lincoln 79-61. 
- UMSL is led by Laura Szorenyi, who scores 12.2 points per game while shooting .431 from the field. 
- Danielle Berry is a lockdown defender on the perimeter, reocrd 21 steals so far this season, 22nd nationally. She also shoots well from deep, posting a 46.2% from three-point range. 
- Alex LaPorta is the leading rebounder for the Tritons with 8.2 rebounds per game. 

SERIES NOTES:
- The Tritons hold the all-time series edge 3-5, but the Lions have won three of the last five contests, including last year's 82-66 win at Hyland Arena.
- Kallie Bildner leads all Lions with 32 points over two games against the Tritons. 22 of those points came in last year's contest, the second-most points socred by a Lion against the Tritons in program history (Kassidy Gengenbacher had 30 points in 2014-15). 
- Bildner also has 22 career rebounds over UMSL.
