Crockett and Blackmon Score 20 Against Culver-Stockton

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood guards TJ Crockett and Vijay Blackmon scored 21 and 20 points, respectively, to power men's basketball to a 98-70 victory over Culver-Stockton. Crockett has scored at least 20 points in every game this season. It is Blackmon's fifth-consecutive 20 point performance. As a team, the Lions shot a program-record 39 three-pointers and made 16, which is the third-most three-pointers made all time, for a 41% shooting percentage as a team. Blackmon led the Lions with a 4-6 day from beyond the arc. With the win, Lindenwood rises to 6-3 overall.

NOTABLE
- Lindenwood was 16-39 from three in the contest. The previous record for 3FG attempts was set on Nov. 8, 2008 against Northern New Mexico (15-34). The 16 makes are the most since the Lions made 16 threes at Missouri Southern on Jan. 12, 2017 (16-32). 
- TJ Crockett scored 21 points on 7-15 shooting from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
- Vijay Blackmon had 20 points on 7-12 shooting, including 4-6 from three. He tied for the team lead with four assists.
- Anthony Christian and Kamau Kinder each scored 10 points against the Wildcats. Christian had six rebounds and both players collected two steals.
- As a team, the Lions won the turnover battle 22-8, and capitalized with a 35-6 edge in points off turnovers. 
- The Lions were 12-13 from the free throw line, the best free-throw shooting performance of the season and tied for the 10th-best percentage in Lindenwood history (92.3%). 
- Lindenwood collected 45 rebounds, including 17 offensive boards, leading to 19 second-chance points.

The Lions return from winter break with a pair of conference games. Lindenwood hosts GLVC foes Missouri S&T (Jan. 3) and Maryville (Jan. 4) in the first week of the new year.
