Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team plays its final road game of the 2019 calendar year on December 7 in Lakeland, Fla. versus the No. 22 Florida Southern Mocs at 5:30 p.m.
• The Lions will arrive in the Sunshine State with a record of 3-2, including an 0-1 mark from within the GLVC. Lindenwood has lost each of its last two outings, including a 93-69 setback at crosstown rival UMSL on Tuesday evening.
• Lindenwood and Florida Southern will meet on the hardwood for the second time in as many seasons, after having their first-ever meeting in Lakeland last year on December 15, 2018.
• The Mocs, who entered last season's matchup ranked No. 10 in the NABC Coaches Poll, staged a second-half comeback to overtake the Lions by a 99-91 final during the only previous meeting.
• Following its non-conference game at Florida Southern, Lindenwood will return to St. Charles, Mo. to close out the final month of the year with three consecutive home games. The Lions will host Hannibal-LaGrange (Dec. 12), Avila (Dec. 17), and Culver-Stockton (Dec. 20) inside Hyland Arena.

Vijay Blackmon achieved career-high marks in points (24) and rebounds (6) during Lindenwood's first-ever GLVC matchup at Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 3.
• Blackmon led the Lions in scoring for the first time this season following his 24-point effort at Missouri-St. Louis, joining
TJ Crockett as the only two players to pace the Lindenwood offense this season.
• Blackmon has now scored in double figures in four straight games, and is averaging 17.8 points per game on 43.6 percent shooting.
• Crockett added 20 points (7-of-17 FG) in the game at Missouri-St. Louis, marking his fifth game this season with at least 20 points scored.
• Crockett is averaging 25.4 points per game through the first five games of the season for Lindenwood, which ranks sixth in NCAA Division II and leads the GLVC.
• Crockett pulled down a career-high seven rebounds to lead the Lions on the glass at Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 3. It was the second time this season, and the fifth time in his career that Crockett led the team in rebounding.

Cameron Scales registered 16 points (6-of-10 FG) in the game at Missouri-St. Louis. Scales knocked down 4-of-8 from behind the three-point line, giving him four games this season with multiple made three-point field-goals.
• For the season, Scales has connected on 15-of-28 (53.6 percent) from three-point range, including 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) over the last two games.Â
• Scales currently ranks 13th in NCAA Division II in three-point field-goal percentage and is second in the GLVC in shooting percentage from deep.
• Lindenwood held Missouri-St. Louis to just six makes on 19 attempts from three-point territory during its game on Dec. 3. The Lions lead the GLVC and are ranked fifth nationally in three-point field-goal defense, holding their opponents to a 26.3 percent mark for the season.
• Lindenwood continues to protect the ball through its five games this season, as it committed just 13 turnovers in its contest at Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 3. The Lions are averaging 10.4 turnovers per game, good for 13th in the nation and second in the GLVC.

• The Lions failed to register a steal during their game at Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 3, snapping a stretch of 124 straight games with the team recording at least one steal. Lindenwood's last game without a single steal was on Nov. 21, 2015 also at Missouri-St. Louis.
Scouting the Competition
• Florida Southern has won seven of its first eight games to begin the 2019-20 season, and is currently ranked No. 22 in the NABC Coaches Poll.
• The Mocs have won four straight games, helping boost their season record to 7-1. Florida Southern has a 2-1 record in conference play, with its lone loss of the season coming at Embry-Riddle on Nov. 20.
• Florida Southern was selected second in the 2019-20 Sunshine State Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, receiving two of the 10 possible first-place votes.
• The Mocs concluded the 2018-19 campaign with a 25-8 overall record, and advanced to the NCAA South Regional Semifinal.
• Florida Southern has six players averaging at least 10.0 points per game this season, led by Brett Hanson who is scoring a team-high 20.3 points per game.
• Jaylin Hinton is scoring 15.2 points per game, while also securing a team-leading 10.6 rebounds per game for the Mocs.
