Lindenwood Notes:
- Lindenwood hosts Washburn in the first game of a three-game homestand to end the regular season. Lindenwood enters the game 18-5 overall and 12-4 in the MIAA. Washburn is 17-7 overall with a 12-3 mark in MIAA games. Lindenwood sits in third in the conference while Washburn is second.
- In their last game, the Lions defeated Lincoln 86-63 in Jefferson City, Mo. In the game,
Kallie Bildner collected her 14th double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Megan Foster matched her career high with 14 points and set a new best with four made threes.Â
- The Lions are 10th in the NCAA in field goal percentage (47.0%) and sixth in rebound margin (10.7).Â
- Individually,
Kallie Bildner is fourth in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 61.9%. She also is 13th in double-doubles with 14 and 28th in rebounds per game at 10.4.Â
- Bildner leads the MIAA in scoring (17.7 points per game), rebounding (10.4 per game) and field goal percentage (61.9%).Â
- With the win against Missouri Western on Feb. 9, Lindenwood earned its 10th MIAA win of the season and secured a spot in the MIAA Championship. It is the first time the Lions have won 10 games in an MIAA schedule.Â
- The Lions are led by first-year head coach
Katie Falco. She comes to Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State.Â
Washburn Notes:
- Washburn enters the contest 17-7 overall and 12-3 in MIAA games. The Ichabods have won three games in a row, most recently defeating Central Oklahoma at home.
- Washburn boasts the third-best scoring defense in the MIAA. The Ichabods allow 60.3 points per game
- The Ichabods are led by Taylor Blue and Reagan Phelan, who score 11.4 and 11.1 points per game, respectively. Hunter Bentley averages 10.8 points per game.
- Bentley leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game while Blue collects 5.5 rebounds per game.Â
- Phelan is second in the MIAA with 4.4 assists per game as well as assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.9
Series Notes:
- The Ichabods lead the all-time series 5-3 and but the Lions won the previous meeting earlier this season.Â
- In five career games against Washburn,
Charisse Williams has scored 48 points (9.6 per game). She also has seven career steals against the Ichabods, more than any Lion in program history.
