GAME OVERVIEW
The No. 6 Lindenwood wrestling team (12-4) defeated No. 24 Maryville (7-5) by a 29-6 final on Wednesday night in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
 
The Lions had great performances by No. 1 Carlos Jacquez and No. 9 Tanner Hitchcock in the first two matches of the night.  With a 7-0 team lead, Danny Swan came from behind to force overtime, and defeated his opponent 7-5 in sudden victory.  After the 157-pound match, the Lions held a 17-0 lead over the Saints.
 
Maryville earned its first points in the 165-pound match as the score flipped in the final seconds in favor of the Saints.  Sam Pennington earned a convincing victory over his opponent at 174 pounds.  The Saints earned a decision victory in the final match to make it a 29-6 win for Lindenwood.
