Lindenwood Notes
- Lindenwood hosts Missouri Western in the second game between the two schools this season. The Lions defeated the Griffons 74-60 on the road on Dec. 6. The Lions are 15-4 overall and 9-3 in MIAA games. Missouri Western is 11-10 overall and 6-6 in the MIAA. 
- This game will be the team's PINK OUT event. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer research. Additionally, Lindenwood will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with events scheduled at Hyland Arena at 10 a.m.
- In their last game, the Lions defeated Northwest Missouri State 71-55 at Hyland Arena. The victory moved the Lions to the 15-win plateau for the second time since joining the NCAA. Lexie Moe led the team with 14 points, all scored in the second half. She shot 5-8 from the field and 4-5 from beyond the arc. 
- As a team, the Lions sixth in rebounding margin at 10.9 and eighth in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 47.7%.
- Entering the game, Kallie Bildner is eighth in the NCAA with a 60.5% field goal percentage. She also leads the MIAA and is 19th nationally with 11 double-doubles this year. 
- Bildner is this week's MIAA Player of the Week. The junior forward averaged 25 points and 15.5 rebounds over two games last week. It is her third honor of the season, tying with Emporia State's Tyra Jones for the most honors collected this season.
- The Lions are led by first-year head coach Katie Falco. She comes to Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. 

Missouri Western Notes
- The Griffons are 11-10 overall and 6-6 in MIAA games. In their last game, they defeated Lincoln 68-59 in Jefferson City, Mo. 
- Missouri Western is second in the MIAA in turnovers forced per game at 18.14 per game. They also average a 3.48 turnover margin, also second in the MIAA. 
- Katrina Roenfeldt leads the team in scoring with 16.0 points per game and rebounding at 5.3 per game. 
- Roenfeldt also shoots the three, with 60 makes and 163 attempts (36.8%).

Series Notes
- The Lions are 5-8 all-time against Missouri Western, but have won four in a row over the Griffons.
- Last season, the Lions defeated the Griffons in the semifinals of the MIAA Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
- In her career, Kallie Bildner has played MWSU six times, averaging 13.0 points and 8.4 rebounds.
