Women's Basketball Wins Third in a Row

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's basketball team won its third consecutive game as the Lions defeated Missouri Western 69-58. Kallie Bildner led the team in scoring and rebounding with 21 points and nine rebounds. The victory moves Lindenwood to 16-4 overall and 10-3 in the MIAA. The 10th conference win is the most Lindenwood women's basketball has ever earned since joining the MIAA. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Kallie Bildner led the team in scoring with 21 points and rebounding with nine rebounds. It is her ninth 20 point performance this year. 
- Lindsay Medlen tallied 11 points on 4-8 shooting from the field. She also had five rebounds and a team-high five assists.
- Charisse Williams added 10 points on 4-7 shooting. 
- Lexie Moe chipped in six points, while contributing seven rebounds and three steals.
- Jade Giron did not miss a shot from the field, going 3-3 (2-2 from three) for nine total points. 
- As a team, the Lions shot 55.1% against Missouri Western, their ninth game of the year over 50% and their fourth over 55%.
- Lindenwood outscored the Griffons in the paint 48-28, including a 28-12 disparity in the second half. 

PLAYOFF PICTURE
This season, the MIAA changed formats for the MIAA Conference Championship. In years' past, the conference would take the top 12 teams with the bottom eight teams playing campus at campus sites for the first round. This season, the top 10 teams all go to Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. For more information on the new format, visit MIAA Tournament Central.
- Today's won secures a spot for Lindenwood in the MIAA Tournament 
- With six games left, Lindenwood sits in second place in the MIAA with a 10-3 record. They are tied with Washburn, and trail conference leader Fort Hays State by two games. 
- In their remaining games Lindenwood plays Fort Hays State (12-1), Nebraska-Kearney (6-7), Lincoln (2-11), Washburn (10-3), Central Missouri (9-4) and Southwest Baptist (2-11).

The Lions take on Fort Hays State on Feb. 14 in Hays, Kan. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
