GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's hockey team (7-22-4) ended its 2018-19 season on Wednesday after a 4-1 loss to Syracuse (11-21-3) in the first round of the CHA Tournament in Buffalo, N.Y.

Lindenwood came out of the gates swinging and it paid off at the 8:34 mark of the first period.Â
Cierra Paisley tipped a shot from
Alexandra Larson for the first goal of the game, and the fourth of the year for Paisley. The Lions struggled in the second period as the Orange outshot Lindenwood 12-4.

Syracuse scored four goals in the second period including one on the power play to take a commanding 4-1 lead. The Lions could not find any momentum in the final period as they were issued six penalties in less than 10 minutes played.
