The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team posted a 10-6 Senior Day victory over crosstown foe Maryville on Saturday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
Sean Darroch matched a career-high with six points and four goals, while
Landon Schuster made eight saves in goal to help the Lions reach double-digit wins for the fourth time in program history.
GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood scored the only goal of the first quarter with just 14 seconds showing on the clock.
Carter Collins ripped a shot into the upper right corner of the cage off of a feed from
Bryce Horstman.
The Lions extended their lead to 2-0 early in the second quarter as Collins set up
Grant Glazier for a man-up score with 11:23 remaining in the first half.
Maryville sliced the Lindenwood lead in half, scoring with just 53 seconds left in the second quarter. Schuster made four saves in the second quarter, and sent the Lions into halftime holding a 2-1 edge.
The visiting Saints outscored the Lions by a 4-2 margin in the third period, and carried a 5-4 lead into the final quarter of period. Collins and Darroch picked up the third-quarter scores for Lindenwood.
Lindenwood dominated the final 15 minutes of play, scoring six of the seven goals, including each of the final five scores to push past Maryville by a final score of 10-6.
Leonard Jones tallied the first two scores of the quarter for the Lions, while Darroch added the final three goals. Jones' first goal of the afternoon gave him an even 100 points for his career, as he became the fifth Lion in program history to join the 100-point club.

- Darroch finished a game with four goals for the fourth time this season, and added two assists for the first time in a game this year.
- Collins registered his fifth hat trick of the season, and had his fourth game with at least five points.
- Collins added a career-high 10 ground balls.

Lindenwood concludes the 2019 regular season with a 10-5 record, including a 7-2 mark from Hunter Stadium. The Lions posted two wins over nationally-ranked opponents, and spent the entire season ranked in the USILA Coaches Poll.
