Softball Walks Off for Win No. 20

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball rebounded from a 10-5 loss in game one to walk off against Missouri Southern in game two 4-3. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, Courtney Klosinski hit a grounder and Ceairra Perez started for home, the throw came home, but Perez beat it out to get the 20th win for Lindenwood. The Lions are now 20-14 overall and 9-11 in MIAA games. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- In game one, Stormee Galka was 2-4 with a triple and a pair of runs scored. 
- Sam Dean was 1-2 with her first home run of the season.
- Austine Pauley was 1-3 with a stolen base. She is 6-6 on the basepaths this season. In her career, she is 23-24 in stolen bases and has not been caught stealing in two seasons.

- In game two, Hanna Porter went 2-4 with a home run, her second of the season. 
- Pauley was 1-3 with a triple and a run scored. 
- Caitlyn Touchette was 1-3 with her sixth double of the season.
- Madison Corwell picked up the start in game two, throwing 6.1 IP with six strikeouts and only one walk. 
- Galka finished the top of the seventh with two consecutive strikeouts to pick up her 12th win of the season, second in the MIAA. 
- Courtney Klosinski had her 23 game on-base streak snapped in game two. Austine Pauley has an active eight-game hitting streak and a 10-game on-base streak.
