GAME OVERVIEW
#9 Lindenwood women's lacrosse scored 20 goals en route to a 20-9 win over #15 Colorado Mesa in the RMAC Semifinals. The Lions will now advance to Sunday's RMAC finals against #3 Regis.
The Lions scored early and often against the Mavericks. Colorado Mesa scored the first goal of the game, two minutes in. Lindenwood responded with seven unanswered goals of their own. The Lions extended their lead to 10 goals with three minutes left in the half.
In the second half, the Lions rattled off five goals to open the second stanza and bring the lead to 20-5. The Mavericks scored four goals at the end of the game to end the game at 20-9. This is the fifth game this season in which the Lions have scored 20 or more goals.

Paige Sutton was the Lion's leading scorer with three goals and two assists. She also led the attack with six shots (five on goal).

Sami Smit also tallied a hat trick, while adding an assist for four points.

Alex Hammonds each scored two goals on five shots in the contest.

Abby Hagberg scored a hat trick on her only three shots of the game.

Meghan Rea scored a goal with an assist.
