Women's Soccer Falls 1-0 in Overtime to UIS

The Lindenwood women's soccer team lost 1-0 in overtime to Illinois Springfield on Friday night in Springfield, Ill.  The Lions drop to 1-3 on the year and 0-2 in the GLVC.
 
MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lions outshot the Prairie Stars in the first half 7-5, and had their best shot in the second half.  After being down one player due to a red card, Katie Richter hit the post in the 67th minute as the game stayed tied 0-0.
 
Megan Swanson made five stops on the night, but Illinois Springfield found the back of the net in the 93rd minute to earn a 1-0 victory.

-Mia Corrigan and Maria Salm each had a shot on goal.
-Megan Swanson made a season-high five saves, allowing just one goal for the third-straight game.
