Field Hockey Takes Down Frostburg State 3-1

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood field hockey scored three goals on the road to defeat Frostburg State. Bridget Hoogendijk scored two goals for the Lions and Jessie Londono scored the final tally to seal the win for Lindenwood. With the victory, the Lions rise to 4-2 overall this season.

LINDENWOOD SCORING SUMMARY
21:09 - Bridget Hoogendijk put the Lions on the board first, finishing the pass from Marnie Reidell.
26:08 - Hoogendijk added her second tally in the 26th minute, on the assist from Megan Martin, putting the Lions back on top 2-1.
38:08 - In the third quarter, Jessie Londono sealed the win for Lindenwood with an assist from Caro Theunisz.

NOTABLE
- Bridget Hoogendijk led the Lion offense with four shots (all on goal) and two goals. She now has 97 career points and is on the verge of becoming the first Lion to record 100 career points.
- Jessie Londono provided a spark off the bench, taking three shots (two on goal) and scoring her first goal of the season. 
- Lauren Roberts, Pauline Terwindt and Megan Martin also were active in the offensive zone, with each taking two shots against Frostburg State.
- Caro Theunisz earned her second assist of the season on Londono's goal. She now has 13 assists in her career. 
- In goal, Mackenzie Litterst played the entire game, making four saves.

UP NEXT
The Lions face a busy weekend with three games in four days. They take on Southern New Hampshire on Oct. 4 before playing Saint Anselm on Oct. 6 and Assumption on Oct. 7. All three games will be on the road.
