The Lindenwood women's hockey team (2-14-3, 0-8-0 CHA) will take on RIT (9-11-2, 2-6-0 CHA) in a two-game series this weekend starting at 7:10 p.m. on Friday at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo.

The Lions are coming off a two-loss weekend against Penn State, as both games were decided by one goal.  Junior transfer, Bailey Coyne, netted her first goal in a Lindenwood uniform on Friday.

Megan Wagner upped her season-total of point to six, after scoring one goal and adding one assist on Saturday.  Sierra Burt dished out two assists last weekend, bringing her season total to a team-leading five assists.

Cierra Paisley has been a strong asset to the Lions both offensively and defensively.  Paisley is leading the team with 177 faceoffs wins (52.2%) and is ranked second on the team with 41 blocked shots

Annika Asplundh improved her numbers this past weekend, posting a 3.22 goals against average and a .914 save percentage this season.

Lindenwood and RIT will play for the 29th and 30th times in the series history since the two teams began play in 2012.  RIT holds the series lead 13-10-5, including a 3-1-0 record last year.

The Lions are 4-3-0 against the Tigers in the last seven meetings, while two of the three losses have been one-goal contests.

Lindenwood is 7-5-2 at home in the series, including winning five of the last seven games on home ice.
