GAME OVERVIEW
For the second time this season, Lindenwood women's basketball defeated cross-town rival UMSLÂ in overtime. This time, the final score was 92-86. Earlier this season, the Lions topped the Tritons 78-70 in overtime.Â
In the first game,
Julia Ruzevich hit a layup with 27 seconds remaining in regulation to force the game into overtime. In tonight's contest,
Devin Fuhring hit a three-pointer as time expired to force the extra period. In overtime, the Lions remained aggressive, forcing their way to the free throw line, where Lindenwood shot 14-18 in overtime alone.
Devin Fuhring led the way, shooting 7-8 from the line in overtime.
Kallie Bildner was 2-3 from the field and 4-4 from the stripe in OT for eight points. Lindenwood did not commit a foul in overtime.
With the win, the Lions rise to 9-5 overall with a 5-3 mark in GLVC action.

- Tonight's contest and the Dec. 3 game at UMSL shared many similarities. On Dec. 3,
Devin Fuhring and
Kallie Bildner led the Lions with 20 points each. Tonight, the duo again tied in points, this time with 29. Bildner had 15 rebounds in both games. Fuhring was 3-7 from three in both games. The two games are the Lions only two overtime games this season.
- Bildner tied for the team lead with 29 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds. The senior was 10-15 from the field and 8-10 from the line.
- Bildner now has 1,597 career points, second all-time at Lindenwood. The Lindenwood career points record is 1,808 set by Shannon Malek from 1992-96.
- Bildner also has 970 career rebounds. No active player in NCAA DII has 1,000 career rebounds.Â
- Fuhring was 6-12 from the field, 3-7 from three and 14-16 from the line. Her 14 makes and 16 attempts at the free throw line are Lindenwood season highs and tied for the 11th most makes and 19th most attempts in the NCAA this season.

Lindsay Medlen had 11 points, five assists, two rebounds and two blocks. She moves into fourth place on Lindenwood's career assists chart with 357.

Julia Ruzevich was 7-10 from the free throw line and scored 11 points with seven rebounds in the game. She also had four steals, three assists and two blocks.Â
- As a team, the Lions were 31-39 from the free throw line. That performance is tied for the seventh-most makes in NCAA DII this season.
