MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood men's volleyball took UC-San Diego to five sets at Hyland Arena, falling just short against the Tritons. Freshman setter Elijah Tabuarua posted 45 assists, the second time this season he has surpassed 40 assists in a match. The loss moves the Lions to 2-3 overall.

NOTABLE
- Elijah Tabuarua directed the Lions' offense with 45 assists. This season, he is fifth in the MIVA with 9.06 assists per set. Tabuarua is the only underclassman in the top five. 
- Diego Negron tied for the team lead with 13 kills and two aces in the match. Defensively he had six digs and three blocks. 
- Freshman AJ Lewis picked up Lindenwood's first double-double of the season, collecting 13 kills and 10 digs. He also had two aces and three blocks.
- Jeremy Kirch had 12 kills, an ace and two blocks against the Tritons. 
- Libero Kyle Deutschmann led the match with 14 digs. 
- Sam Schindler posted nine kills and three blocks with a team-leading .615 attack percentage. 
- Cal Werths led the team with four total blocks.
