Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team will host the Maryville Saints on Saturday afternoon for a 3:00 p.m. matinee inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
• The Lions will enter Saturday riding a current four-game winning streak. Each of the four victories for Lindenwood have come on its home court. On the season, the Lions are 5-1 from inside Hyland Arena.
• Lindenwood's last five-game winning streak began on Nov. 18, 2017 and stretched through Dec. 7, 2017.
• The Lions and Saints are familiar opponents, having met 39 times during the all-time series which dates back to the 1973-74 season. Maryville owns a 23-16 edge during the all-time series.
• The two teams last met on Nov. 18, 2015 in St. Charles. The Lions prevailed in the matchup by an 82-66 final score, and were led by a 23-point effort from Cory Arentsen.
• Following its game with Maryville, Lindenwood will embark on a three-game road swing, which will include two games versus nationally-ranked opponents (Jan. 11 at No. 25 Drury and Jan. 16 at No. 15 UIndy).

Anthony Christian had the best game of his Lindenwood career on Thursday evening, helping guide the Lions to their first-ever GLVC victory. Christian finished the game against Missouri S&T with a career-high 20-point performance (9-of-9 FG).
• Christian was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field in the second half of Thursday's game, finishing the period with 13 points to help the Lions seal the 78-73 victory.
• Christian was a force down low in the game against Missouri S&T, scoring 18 of his 20 points inside the paint. Christian secured seven rebounds in the game, raising his team-leading average to 5.4 rebounds per game.

TJ Crockett also added 20 points (5-of-12 FG, 4-of-6 3PFG) in the game against Missouri S&T, extending his streak to 10 straight games with at least 20 points, having accomplished the feat in each game this season.
• Crockett's four makes from three-point territory against the Miners matched a single-game career-high. Crockett has six games this season with multiple makes from behind the arc.
• Through 10 games this season, Crockett is averaging 25.4 points per game. Crockett ranks seventh in NCAA Division II and leads the GLVC in points per game.

Vijay Blackmon totaled 17 points (5-of-13 FG, 3-of-6 3PFG) against Missouri S&T, his ninth consecutive game scoring in double figures. Blackmon is currently tied for fifth in the GLVC in points per game at 18.2 ppg.
• Blackmon led the Lions in rebounding for the first time this season, securing a team-high eight rebounds in the win over Missouri S&T. Blackmon also paced Lindenwood in the game with a team-leading four assists.

Cameron Scales connected on 2-of-4 three-point field-goals versus Missouri S&T. On the season, Scales is shooting 43.1 percent from deep, the sixth-highest mark in the GLVC.
• In its game against Missouri S&T, Lindenwood had identical shooting performances in each half, shooting exactly 13-of-24 (54.2 percent) from the field in each period.
• Lindenwood had its second-best shooting performance of the season in its last game, hitting on 54.2 percent of its shots.Â
• On the season, Lindenwood is shooting 47.2 percent from the field, the seventh-best mark in the conference. Over the last four games, the Lions are shooting 51.5 percent from the field, resulting in four consecutive victories.Â

Scouting the Competition
• Maryville arrives in St. Charles with a 4-5 record, including an 0-2 mark from within the GLVC.
• The Saints were selected 12th in the 2019-20 GLVC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll after concluding the 2018-19 season with a 9-18 record.
• Maryville will head into Saturday's matchup coming off of an 83-58 defeat at Missouri-St. Louis. Earlier this season on Dec. 3, Maryville traveled to Rolla, Mo. and was handed a 72-59 loss in its only other GLVC game.
• The Saints are led offensively by the duo of Parker Long and Jalen Gant. Long leads the team in scoring at 15.2 points per game, while Gant is not far behind at 15.0 points per game.
• Kamto Eze has played in seven of the nine games this season for Maryville, and is the team's leading rebounder during that time. Eze is averaging 6.3 rebounds per game for the Saints.
• At 66.7 points per game, Maryville ranks last in the GLVC in scoring offense.
