Lindenwood Notes:
- Lindenwood hosts Maryville at Hyland Arena, looking to start GLVC play 3-0. The Saints defeated UMSL on Thursday night, 62-53. The Saints overcame an 18-point deficit, due in part to a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter, to top the Tritons. 
- Lindenwood played Missouri S&T on Thursday night, topping the Miners 73-68. Devin Fuhring led the Lions with 21 points on 8-13 shooting from the field and 3-6 from three. Fuhring filled up the stat sheet, finishing second on the Lions in rebounds (7), assists (4), steals (3) and blocks (1). Point guard Lindsay Medlen tallied nine assists for the third time this season.
- The Maryville contest features the two highest scorers in the GLVC in Kallie Bildner (20.3 points per game) and Mary Barton (20.2 points per game). 
- The Lions boast one of the top perimeter defenses in NCAA DII. Lindenwood is 19th nationally, holding opponents to 25.4% shooting from beyond the arc. 
- Earlier this season, Kallie Bildner grabbed her 856th career rebound, setting the Lindenwood mark for career rebounds. The senior now has 898 career rebounds, third among all active NCAA DII student-athletes. 
- Against Pittsburg State on November 13, Bildner scored 35 points, the most scored by a Lion in the NCAA era of Lindenwood Athletics. The Lindenwood record for points in a game in the NAIA is 41 points. 
- Lindenwood is ranked for the first time this season, 25th in the WBCA National Poll. This is the third consecutive week in which the Lions received votes in the poll. Lindenwood was last ranked on Jan. 15, 2019 when they were 24th in the nation. 
- The Lions are led by second-year head coach Katie Falco. She joined Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. In her first season at the helm, she led the Lions to a 21-8 overall record, setting the Lindenwood NCAA single-season win record and earning the program's first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. 

Maryville Notes
- The Saints are 6-3 overall and 1-1 in GLVC action, most recently defeating UMSL 62-53. Maryville overcame an 18-point deficit to top the Tritons on the road.
- Maryville is led by Mary Barton, who is second in the GLVC with 20.2 points per game. She is the program's 13th 1,000-point scorer and is on pace to break the Maryville career assists record (275 career assists, record is 344). 
- Barton leads the GLVC and is eighth nationally with a 92.9% free-throw percentage.
- Abby Monis is the Saints' top rebounder at 9.3 boards per game. She previously broke a Maryville record with 19 rebounds against Upper Iowa.

Series Notes
- The Lions and Saints have not played since the 90-91 season, but Lindenwood holds a 6-5 edge in the all time series. 
- Lindenwood won the last game in the series 61-51 on Dec. 19, 1990.
