Women's Basketball Eyes Missouri-St. Louis in Road Matchup

Lindenwood women's basketball (3-2, 3-2 GLVC) travels to St. Louis to face Missouri-St. Louis (1-2, 1-2 GLVC) on Friday, Dec. 18 at 5:00 p.m.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
The Lions enter the matchup on a three-game winning streak, including a victory over previously-undefeated Truman State on Saturday. In December games, the Lions are 7-3 under head coach Katie Falco.

Devin Fuhring set a career-high with 33 points against Truman State, which is t-4th all-time in program history.

The Lions have outrebounded their opponent in four of five games this season. In three of five games, the team has recorded 44 or more steals in a game.

As a team, Lindenwood is shooting .370 from the field this year. However, the team shot .591 against the Bulldogs. Julia Ruzevich has scored in double-figures each game this season. She has three 23+ point games.

A LOOK AT THE SERIES
The all-time series is tied, 5-5, between the two teams.

The Lions are 2-3 all-time when playing against UMSL in St. Louis. Under Falco, Lindenwood is 1-0 on the road at UMSL.

LAST SEASON AGAINST UMSL
The Lions went 2-0 against UMSL last season, winning both games in overtime.

Fuhring scored a season-best 29 points in the Jan. 20 showdown between the two teams. J. Ruzevich scored a combined 23 points in the two games.

In the Dec. 3 showdown, the Lions notched 54 rebounds, including 10 from Kate Ruzevich.

Lindenwood outshot UMSL in both matchups last season. In two games, the Tritons committed 29 total turnovers against the Lions.

WEEKLY BEST
Lindenwood has secured a GLVC Player of the week in back-to-back weeks. Fuhring and J. Ruzevich each secured the first two PotW honors of their careers.

In the past four games (3-1), the two have combined for 155 points, which is over 50.0 percent of the total team scoring.

SCORING MACHINE
After consecutive 80+ point efforts, the Lions are now 3rd in the GLVC in scoring with 74.0 PPG.

Lindenwood is 3rd in the conference with a .370 three-point field goal percentage. Part of that, is due to the Lions' success rebounding, as they have the top rebounding margin in the GLVC (+12.6).

GLVC NOTES
J. Ruzevich (21.0) and Fuhring (17.0) are both in the top-12 in the conference in scoring.

J. Ruzevich is 1st in rebounding with 11.0 boards per game.

Ellen McCorkle is 4th in the conference in blocks per game with 1.80.

DIVISION II NOTES
Lindenwood has the highest single-game 3FG% output, shooting 59.1 percent from deep against TSU.

Lindenwood's +12.6 rebounding margin is 5th in Division II.

The Lions are averaging 17.4 assists per game, which is 7th in the nation.

Fuhring's 33 points against Truman State is tied for 4th-most in a single-game in DII this season.

J. Ruzevich is t-2nd in the nation with her three double-doubles. She is also in the top-20 in the nation in scoring with 21.0 PPG.
