The Lindenwood men's basketball team (4-1, 4-1 GLVC) will close out the 2020 portion of its season on Sunday, as the Lions host Drury (0-1, 0-1 GLVC) AT 2:00 p.m. in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
Lindenwood is coming off an 84-72 upset victory over No. 25 UMSL.Â
TJ Crockett led the Lions with 28 points, while the University City, Mo. native surpassed his 1,000th career point in the game. Along with Crockett, four other Lions scored 10 or more points in the game. The Lions shot 52.8 percent from the field, and knocked down eight three-pointers in the upset win on Friday.
Heading into Sunday, Lindenwood and No. 12 Truman State have each won four games on the season, which leads the GLVC. Crockett leads all conference scorers with his 122 total points, as his season average sits at 24.4 PPG.
Drury played its first game of the season on Friday, as the Panthers fell to Missouri S&Tat home by a final of 96-89. Conley Garrison led the Panthers with 25 points, while three of his teammates also scored in double digits.
