Women's Basketball Sets Sights on Quincy

Lindenwood women's basketball (0-2, 0-2 GLVC) stays on the road to square off with the Quincy Hawks (0-3, 0-3 GLVC) tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in Quincy, Ill.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
Lindenwood women's basketball travels to face Quincy as the team seeks its first win of the season.

Julia Ruzevich has led the team in scoring the past two games. Her 26.0 points per game average in second in the GLVC. As a team, the Lions shot 38.3 percent from the field against the Saints. The team was 10-32 from deep, as well.

The Lions will look to limit turnovers against Quincy. In the first two games of the season, Lindenwood has over 50 total turnovers.

J. Ruzevich and Ellen McCorkle combined for 26 of the team's 44 rebounds at Maryville. Lindenwood is tops in the GLVC in rebounds against, allowing an average of 28 per game. The next closest team is allowing 32 rebounds per game. The Lions are second in the conference in rebounding margin with a +11.0 margin.

A LOOK AT THE SERIES
In the all-time series between the two teams, the Lions lead, 3-1. The Lions swept the Hawks last season, 2-0, winning by an average of 16.0 points in the two games.

The Lions were 2-0 against Quincy last season, both games on the road.

Hennessey Handy scored 14 points in one game at the Hawks. J. Ruzevich averaged 11 points in two games played against Quincy. In both games at Quincy, the Lions shot over 44.0 percent from the field.

In two games, Lindenwood amassed 41 total assists, to Quincy's 28. The Lions will also look to continue their success on the boards. In both games last season, the team recorded 35 or more total rebounds.

J. RUZEVICH IS CRUISING
Julia Ruzevich has notched a double-double in both games to begin the season. She has three double-doubles in her career.

She is t-3rd in the GLVC with 26.0 points per game. Her 14.5 rebounds per game are 1st in the league. J. Ruzevich has thrived on the offensive boards, averaging a GLVC-best 6.50 per game.

LIVIN' ON THE BOARDS
Lindenwood has outrebounded both teams to start the season. Against Maryville, two Lions recorded double-digit rebound totals (J. Ruzevich 15 and McCorkle 11).

The team's +11.0 rebound margin is the second-best in the conference. J. Ruzevich's 14.5 rebounds per game are 2nd in all of Division II.

LENDING A HAND
The Lions are 4th in the conference in assists, with 14.50 per game. Grace Neff is t-4th in assists with 5.00 per game.

Neff's 2.50 assist/turnover ratio is 2.50, which is 4th in the GLVC.

A LOOK AT THE DIVISION II LEADERS
J. Ruzevich is 2nd in all of D-II with 14.5 rebounds per game. She is 1st in offensive rebounds per game with 6.5. Her 26.0 PPG are t-7th in Division II.

Neff is t-12th in DII with 5.0 assists per game.

As a team, Lindenwood's +11.0 rebounding margin is t-3rd.
