GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball completed the second day of the Rosemont Dome Invitational in style. In game one against Ashland,
Stormee Galka threw a complete game one-hitter in a 2-0 win. In game two, the Lions defeated No. 3 Grand Valley State in 10 innings. The victories move the Lions to 6-2 overall this season.
ASHLAND NOTABLES
- Senior pitcher
Stormee Galka threw all seven shutout innings for the Lions, allowing one hit, no walks and striking out four.
- At the plate,
Whitney Wendel hit her third home run of the season, a solo shot in the third.

No.3 GRAND VALLEY STATE NOTABLES
- Both teams battled to a scoreless draw in seven innings. In the eighth, Grand Valley scored on a single to right center in the top of the inning. Lindenwood's
Stormee Galka answered in the bottom of the eighth, legging out an infield single to score
Kayla Scholz from third. In the bottom of the 10th,
Riley Luetkenhaus singled through the left side to plate
Ceairra Perez as the winning run.
