No. 5 Lindenwood women's lacrosse (5-0, 0-0 GLVC) won, 21-3, against Tiffin (1-1, 0-0 G-MAC) on Sunday.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions soared to an early 7-0 lead, and led 10-1, entering halftime. Lindenwood got up 18 shots in the while limiting Tiffin to six. The Lions finished with three saves in the game, all of which came in the first 30 minutes. Lindenwood scooped up 10 ground balls in the first half, to Tiffin's six, and finished with more first half draw controls than the Dragons, 9-3.
The second half saw the Lions continue their reign of dominance, as they outscored the Dragons 11-2 in the final 30 minutes. Lindenwood outshot Tiffin, 13-3, over the course of the second half. The Lions scooped up five ground balls in the second half, giving them 15 in the game, to Tiffin's eight ground balls for the game. Lindenwood recorded 10 draw controls in the final 30 minutes of the match.
