Lindenwood women's basketball, winners of their past six games, defeated fourth-seeded Truman State 79-59 to advance to the GLVC Semifinal Round. The fifth-seed Lions will face top-seed and defending conference champion Drury tomorrow, March. 7. The win moves Lindenwood to 19-8 overall this season.
NOTABLE
- Kallie Bildner led the way for Lindenwood with 24 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. The unanimous first-team All-GLVC honoree shot 9-15 from the field and 5-5 from the line.Â
- Bildner's 24 points give her 555 points this season, topping her own Lindenwood NCAA record for single-season points scored.Â

Lindsay Medlen scored 10 points in 19 minutes of play while picking up three steals and three assists.

- The Lions put pressure on the Bulldogs defensively, scoring 23 points off turnovers. The Lions committed just seven turnovers while forcing Truman State into 13.
- Lindenwood scored 48 points in the paint and 15 second-chance points.Â
- This win will help solidify Lindenwood's post-season bid for at at-large spot in the Midwest Regional. The Lions entered today, seventh in the regional rankings and Truman State ranked ninth. Southern Indiana entered the tournament sixth in the regional rankings, but fell yesterday to Bellarmine 66-59.
