Women's Basketball Plays Host to Rockhurst

Lindenwood women's basketball (4-4, 4-4 GLVC) welcomes in Rockhurst (5-4, 5-4 GLVC) on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
Ellen McCorkle set career-highs in the previous contest against Lewis with 18 points and 13 rebounds. McCorkle also recorded five blocked shots against the Flyers, tied for a single-game high in program history.

Against Rockhurst last season, Julia Ruzevich scored 14 points, the highest of any current player. J. Ruzevich has scored in double-figures in every game this season.

Over the past six games, Devin Fuhring has averaged 19.3 points per contest.

Lindenwood has the 4th-best offense in the GLVC, averaging 70.9 points per game. The Lions rebound at a 40.9 per game average, best in the conference. Their +8.2 rebound margin is 2nd in the conference. Lindenwood is 2nd in assists per game (17.38) and 3rd in blocked shots per game (3.50) in the GLVC.

J. Ruzevich (21.4) is 1st in scoring in the conference, and Fuhring (16.9) is 10th. McCorkle's 1.8 blocked shots per game average is 3rd in the GLVC. She is 2nd in offensive rebounds per game with 3.63.

A LOOK AT THE MATCHUP
The Hawks are coached by Larry Park, who is 113-190 (.373) in his career at the helm of the program.

Rockhurst is 2nd in the conference, holding opponents to a .370 shooting percentage. The Hawks hold opposing three point shooters to a .263 clip, best in the conference.

Rockhurst has struggled with assists, as they sit t-13th with 11.00 per game, over six less per game than the Lions.

Daly Sullivan (13.4) and Keegan Sullivan (12.0) are averaging double-digits for Rockhurst. D. Sullivan leads the team with 16 3PM. Jessina Rada is second with 14 3PM.

Monika Faerber is averaging a team-high 7.6 rebounds, along with 7.2 points. D. Sullivan also is tops on the team with 17 assists. Faerber has tallied 21 steals this season, best on the team.
