Men's Basketball Returns to Hyland Arena on Wednesday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (4-3, 4-3 GLVC) will return to Hyland Arena on Wednesday for a 6:00 p.m. start against Illinois Springfield (2-2, 2-2 GLVC) in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Southwest Baptist on the road.  Romelo Burrell just missed a double-double, as the Chicago, Ill. native scored 14 points with his eight rebounds.  TJ Crockett had another quality performance on Saturday, as he scored 20 points or more for the fifth time this season.

While the Lions are allowing the opposition to shoot 46.7 percent from the field, the defensive pressure has led to 8.6 steals and 4.3 blocks per game.  Lindenwood is holding a +4.0 turnover margin through seven games,  as Crockett and Vijay Blackmon have contributed a combined 28 steals.

The Lions will look to hold the Prairie Stars to less than 75 points on Wednesday.  The Lions are 4-0 when holding the opposition under 75 points this season, as Lindenwood is averaging 79.1 points per game.
