The Lions competed amongst high levels of national competition at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday. The men's team finished 31st, second-highest among GLVC schools, while the women's team had the second-highest finish for a GLVC team at 21st.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Louis Moreau had the highest finish for the team, ending in 26th, with a time of 24:42.90. Moreau recorded the third-fastest 8k mark in program NCAA-era history.
• Bramwell Havi recorded a time of 26:30.60.
• Maxime Touron (27:22.40) and Timothy Maxwell (27:27.60) finished third and fourth for the Lions, respectively.
• Luke Talbot (28:10.50), Brady Mello (28:23.50), and Brody Hudson (29:01.40) rounded out the runners for Lindenwood.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Najwa Chouati finished 21st with a time of 17:28.20. Rachael Morrison notched a top 40 finish with a time of 17:43.80 for 38th. Both of the times finished as the top two-fastest 5k times in program NCAA-era history.
• Courtney Reid was the third Lion to cross the finish line, culminating a time of 19:06.10.
• Kirsten Huffman (215th), Nadia Pulliam (275th), Sydney Reid (289th), and Emma Hubbell (292nd) were the final four finishers for Lindenwood.
