The Lindenwood football team (7-2, 5-0 GLVC) compiled 592 offensive yards to roll past William Jewell (0-9, 0-5 GLVC) by a final of 53-10 on Saturday in Liberty, Mo.

Lindenwood opened the scoring on the first drive, when
Cole Dugger hit
Clint Sigg on a five-yard touchdown pass. On the next offensive drive, Dugger led the Lions 99 yards down the field and closed out the drive with a 21-yard touchdown pass to
Payton Rose. Dugger connected with Rose again near the end of the quarter to give Lindenwood a 20-0 lead.Â
In the second quarter, the Lions constructed an 80-yard drive, as Dugger found
Spencer Redd for a seven-yard passing touchdown. Rose hauled in his third touchdown catch at the 4:39 mark of the second quarter, which was the fifth passing touchdown for Dugger. Lindenwood took a 34-10 lead into halftime.
Robert Giaimo scored the first rushing touchdown for the Lions to begin the third quarter on a 41-yard scamper. A little more than four minutes later, Redd tallied his second score of the game on a 31-yard pass from
Alex Faddoul.Â
Logan Seibert knocked in a 27-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter, and hit a 40-yard field goal with 7:59 remaining.  Lindenwood cruised to a 53-10 win over William Jewell for its fourth road win of the season. Rose moved into second place on the career leaderboard for the Lions in receiving yards (2,058) and receiving touchdowns (24).Â
