The Lindenwood football team (3-2, 1-0 GLVC) will host Quincy (3-2, 1-0 GLVC) for homecoming on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions are coming off a 31-21 upset victory over No. 18 Truman State in Kirksville, Mo.  Lindenwood was down 14-0 after the first quarter, but outscored the Bulldogs 31-7 for the remainder of the game.  Robert Giaimo bullied his way to 108 yards on the ground and three scores to lead the offensive attack.

Cade Brister efficiently completed 25 of his 32 passes for 291 yards and one passing touchdown.  In the road victory, Brister surpassed Ben Kisner (2005-08) on the schools all-time total offensive yards list.  The record of 8,359 total offensive yards stood for more than a decade.  Brister ranks in the top-10 in the nation in completion percentage (6th), total touchdowns (6th), and rushing scores (8th).

Defensively, the Lions accumulated three turnovers, including two on back-to-back possessions in the second quarter.  Drew Seers compiled 11 tackles and had one of the two interceptions for the Lions.  Seers sits in the top-25 in NCAA Division II with 5.8 solo tackles per game, while his 11.0 total tackles per game ranks 10th in the country.

The Hawks visit St. Charles with an overall record of 3-2 after a thrilling 31-28 win over Missouri S&T.  Quincy registered an interception for a touchdown as the only score in the fourth quarter and the eventual game winner.
Quincy is led by Tionne Harris who has 11 passing touchdowns to just one interception.  Harris is averaging 246.3 passing yards per game, and is adding 23.8 yards per contest on the ground.  Eugene Witherspoon has exploded for 10 receiving touchdowns with a total of 546 yards through five games.
