The Lindenwood men's basketball team (2-1) earned an 81-64 win over University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (2-5) on Wednesday night inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions held a slim lead early in the game and eventually built a 24-14 lead at the 9:09 mark of the first half. Lindenwood shot 41 percent from the field in the first 20 minutes, but pulled down seven more rebounds than the Eutectics to hold a 37-29 lead at the half. Lindenwood forced nine turnovers in the opening frame, as
Brandon Suggs had two steals.Â
Jacoby Ross and
Kevin Caldwell Jr. each hit five field goals in the first half, while Ross was 2-for-3 from behind the arc.

Lindenwood struggled to pull away in the game, as the Lions held a 60-53 lead with 6:52 to go in the game. Just 10 seconds later, Ross hit a jumper in the paint that sparked a 13-0 run for the next 2:32. The Lions maintained the large lead, as
Brandon Trimble knocked down a pair of three-pointers in the final three minutes of the game.Â
Romelo Burrell led the way in the second half with 12 points and three rebounds to secure his third-consecutive double-double. Suggs finished with a double-double as well, dropping 12 points with 10 boards.
