The Lindenwood women's hockey team (1-11-0, 1-3-0 CHA) remains home to take on Bemidji State (2-8-2, 1-8-1 WCHA) at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo. Game one is set for 7:10 p.m. on Friday while the series finale on Saturday will begin at 2:10 p.m.

Lindenwood will look to bounce back after taking two losses against No. 9 Clarkson on November 12 and 13 by a score of 5-3 in both contests.

The Lions trailed after 40 minutes in each game but continued to battle back. Lindenwood netted four goals across the two games in the final frame but couldn't complete a comeback. So far this season, the Lions have scored 15 goals in the third period, its most of any frame.

The Lions and Beavers will meet for the 12th time in the series history, which dates back to 2011. The two teams last played in October of 2019, as each team picked up one victory in the series, with both games being decided by one goal. Five of the 11 games between the two teams have been decided by a single tally.

Lindenwood is led offensively by
Valerie Caldwell (4 G, 5 A) and
Sierra Burt (2 G, 7 A) who have nine points apiece. Burt recorded three points (1 G, 2 A) in the series against Clarkson, while the Bayfield, Ontario natives seven assist rank fifth best within the CHA.

Bemidji State dropped both games of its weekend series against No. 7 Minnesota Duluth by scores of 9-0 and 4-1, respectively.

The Beavers have three players with five or more points this season, led by Graysen Myers who has eight (3 G, 5 A), while Reece Hunt has chipped in seven (2 G, 5 A)

Bemidji State has won one game on the road this year, while one has come on home ice. The Beavers tied No. 1 Wisconsin 0-0 on November 6.
