The Lindenwood football team (7-2, 5-0 GLVC) will look to win the GLVC outright on Saturday, as the Lions head to Rolla, Mo. to take on Missouri S&T (5-4, 3-2 GLVC) at 1:00 p.m.
In the recent polls, Lindenwood ranks No. 5 in Super Region Three, while earning votes in the AFCA Coaches Poll. The Lions appear in the D2Football.com rankings as the No. 25 team in NCAA Division II.

Lindenwood is coming off a 53-10 win over William Jewell last weekend, as
Payton Rose went off for 143 receiving yards and three scores.
Cole Dugger tossed five touchdown and over 300 yards in the first half.
Kai Ross registered his sixth interception on the year, moving him into a tie for second for most picks in a single season for the Lions.

The Lindenwood defense has accumulated 13 interceptions on the season, which ranks ninth in NCAA Division II, and is just two away from the leading team in the country.
Drew Seers is leading the team and ranks 12th in the nation with his 10.4 tackles per game. Offensively,
Robert Giaimo ranks in the top-25 in yards per carry (6.3) and rushing touchdowns (9) through nine games.

Lindenwood will have a tough test against Missouri S&T, as the Miners took down UIndy this past Saturday. In 2019, the Miners were up on the Lions 24-14 at the half, but Lindenwood clawed back. In the final seconds of the fourth quarter, Missouri S&T had a chance to win the game on a field goal attempt, but
Jordan Perry blocked the kick to send the game into overtime. Gibbons scored the only points in overtime to give Lindenwood the 37-31 win.

Lindenwood has a chance to earn its second conference title in as many years competing in the league. The Lions are 12-0 in GLVC games since joining the league at the start of the 2019 season. Lindenwood is 3-1 on the road this season, with its only road loss coming to NCAA Division I South Dakota State.
