Lindenwood men's hockey assistant coach Jason Power was named head coach of the Romanian U20 national team for the 2022 IIHF U20 World Championships. Romania will be the host for Division II, Group A and the six team bracket will take place in Brasov, Romania from December 13-19, 2021.
 
This is not Power's first foray into international competition. Power, who joined the Lindenwood men's hockey staff prior to the start of the 2019-20 season, has previously named as the head coach for the Romanian team in 2019 and was on staff when the team won the silver medal in the 2016 IIHF Division II World Championships.
 
The Lindenwood men's team is currently ranked #1 in the latest ACHA Men's D1 rankings and is 10-3 on the season with their three losses coming against NCAA competition.
