The Lindenwood men's basketball team (5-3, 1-2 GLVC) will host Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions will play their final home game of the calendar year, closing out a five-game home stand. Lindenwood is coming off a 77-61 loss to Missouri-St. Louis on December 4, as the Lions saw their lowest point total of the season.
Jacoby Ross led all Lindenwood scorers with 16 points, while
Romelo Burrell (15) and
Kevin Caldwell Jr. (13) also scored in double digits.
Lindenwood ranks seventh in NCAA Division II with 5.4 blocks per game, while the Lions have totaled 43 blocks through eight games. As the Lions sit at third in the GLVC in free-throw percentage, the 77.4 percent from the charity stripe ranks inside the top-25 in the country.
Ross is leading the squad with 22.5 points per contest, which stands 16th in the nation. Burrell is averaging 18.8 points per game, with 7.9 rebounds per game.
Brandon Suggs has been a consistent player on both ends of the quarter, scoring 7.9 points and grabbing 7.1 boards per contest. Burrell and Suggs are tied for the team lead with 13 blocked shots, while
Brandon Trimble leads the defensive end with 10 steals.
After Tuesday's contest, Lindenwood will head to Las Vegas, Nev. on December 17-18 for a pair of games. The Lions open the 2022 year with a road game on January 2 to take on Truman State in Kirksville, Mo.
