The Lindenwood women's basketball team (3-5 2-1 GLVC) returns home to take on Christian Brothers (2-6, 1-2 GSC) on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
 
Lindenwood picked up its first road win of the season, a 67-65 victory over Parkside on Sunday. In a tie game with seven seconds left, Emily Benzschawel came off the becnh cold and knocked down a pair of free throws, which helped seal the two-point win. Lindenwood was solid from the charity stripe in the contest, making 12-of-13 attempts.
 
The Lions had three players record double figures in the win, led by Devin Fuhring, who compiled 22 points on 7-16 shooting from the field, which included four three point makes. Julia Ruzevich registered her fourth double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Orland Park, Ill native leads the team in scoring at 19.1 points per game, while pacing the team in rebounds at 10.1 per contest.
 
Ellen McCorkle was the other Lindenwood player in double figures with 11 points in 30 minutes of action. The Oregon, Wis. native also grabbed six rebounds and recorded two blocks. As a team, Lindenwood is averaging 4.5 blocks per game, tops in the GLVC.
 
Christian Brothers enters Wednesday's game with a record of 2-6, including a 1-2 mark inside conference play. The Buccaneers are coming off an 85-66 loss to No. 18 Union this past Saturday.
