The Lindenwood women's basketball team (4-5 2-1 GLVC) closes out the 2021 portion of its schedule on Sunday in a matchup against Michigan Tech (8-2, 3-1 GLIAC) at 4:00 p.m. inside Hyland Arena.

The Lions are coming off a dominant 99-51 win over Christian Brothers on Wednesday night. Six different players recorded double figures, led by
Julia Ruzevich who compiled 21 points and 11 rebounds, her fifth double-double of the season in just 22 minutes of game time. The 99 points were the teams most since scoring 102 against Emporia State on Nov. 17.

Devin Fuhring recorded 10 points in the win, putting her six points shy of the 1,000-point club.
Alana Striverson and
Mary McGrath each recorded 10 points or more, while knocking down at least three shots from behind the arc, as the team went a combined 12-25 from three-point range.

Lindenwood stymied Christian Brothers on the defensive end, allowing just 51 points, its lowest total of the season. The Lions also forced 21 CBU turnovers, while pulling down 51 rebounds. Lindenwood sits atop the GLVC, averaging 41.8 boards per game.

The Lions open the 2022 portion of their schedule on Sunday, January 2. Lindenwood will take on Truman State at 1:00 p.m. from Kirsksville, Mo.
