The Lindenwood women's basketball team (2-4, 2-0 GLVC) remains at home on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against Missouri-St. Louis (5-1, 2-0 GLVC) beginning at 1:00 p.m. from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood earned its second-consecutive victory on Thursday night, a 69-60 win over Quincy. The Lions used a quick start to jump out in front of the Hawks, as Lindenwood shot 8-19 from the field in the opening frame and knocked down four three pointers and outscored the Hawks 18-8 in the second quarter to take a 35-20 lead into halftime. Lindenwood grew its lead to 20 points early in the third quarter and never looked back.

The Lions are led offensively by
Julia Ruzevich and
Ellen McCorkle who are combing for nearly half the team's points. McCorkle had a team-high 18 points in the win over the Hawks, while Ruzevich picked up her second double-double of the season adding 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Gracie Neff finished Thursday's game with a career-high 11 assists, including eight in the opening half. The Kansas City, Mo. native is currently tops in the GLVC, averaging 5.3 assists per game.
Sophia Horton provided a spark off the bench, matching her career-high with 12 points, including a pair of makes from behind the arc.

Missouri-St. Louis comes into Saturday's game on a five-game winning streak, including a pair of wins inside conference play. The Tritons are coming off a 57-54 road win against Truman State on Thursday.
