Men's Basketball Set to Host Maryville on Thursday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (8-8, 8-8 GLVC) will look to earn its second-straight win on Thursday, as the Lions host Maryville (7-9, 7-9 GLVC) at 7:15 p.m. inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions are coming off an 89-77 win over Missouri S&T this past Saturday, the second overtime victory this season.  Lindenwood was led by TJ Crockett who dropped 33 points, while Romelo Burrell scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the year.

Lindenwood took down Maryville in the second game of the season, by a final score of 73-69 on the road.  Burrell tallied his first double-double of his Lindenwood career, as he scored 11 points and brought down 10 boards.  Crockett scored 19 points in the first matchup, as he was 4-of-9 from three-point range.

Maryville is coming off an overtime win over the Miners as well.  The Saints earned a 70-68 win over Missouri S&T on February 4 in Rolla, Mo.  Maryville is on a two-game winning streak heading into Thursday.
