Women's Basketball Hosts Missouri-St. Louis Tomorrow

Lindenwood women's basketball (8-8, 8-8 GLVC) hosts Missouri-St. Louis (10-7, 10-7 GLVC) on Thursday in Hyland Arena. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
The Lions are looking to get back into the win column after dropping the last three, and last four of five. Lindenwood has dropped to the 11th spot in the GLVC Point System, currently out of the eight-team playoffs.

Ellen McCorkle (14 points and 11 rebounds) and Julia Ruzevich (22 points and 14 rebounds) both notched double-doubles at William Jewell.

The Lions are 1st in the GLVC in blocked shots (71) and blocked shots per game (4.4). With 13.5 offensive rebounds per game, Lindenwood is top in the conference. Making 7.7 threes made per game, the Lions are 2nd in the GLVC.

J. Ruzevich (10.4) and McCorkle (8.4) are both in the top-10 in rebounds per game in the league.

Devin Fuhring is shooting 36.0 percent on threes, which is 8th in the GLVC.

Lindenwood is 5-3 at home, including 5-2 in its last seven home contests.

The Lions received zero bench points at William Jewell.

A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION
Missouri-St. Louis is coached by Katie Vaughn. Vaughn is 136-103 in her nine-years at UMSL.

The Tritons average the 4th-most assists per game in the GLVC at 15.9.

UMSL has the 2nd-fewest turnovers as a team in the conference (217).

With 64.7 points per game allowed, the team has the 2nd-best scoring defense in the league.

Danielle Berry leads the GLVC in assist/turnover ratio (2.84). Berry's 2.24 steals per game are 4th in the conference.

Kiara Stewart averages a league-best 3.9 offensive boards per game.

Alex LaPorta has made 113 total field goals, which is 3rd in the GLVC. LaPorta's six double-doubles are 5th in the conference.
