Lindenwood women's basketball (8-9, 8-9) takes on McKendree (8-12, 8-12 GLVC) in the Lions' penultimate home game of the season on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
The Lions have dropped four games in a row after beginning the season 8-5.
Devin Fuhring scored a team-high 27 points against UMSL on Thursday. She has four games with 25 or more points scored this season, and eight games with 20 or more points. Fuhring is 5th in the conference with 18.4 points per game.
Julia Ruzevich is 9th with 17.4 points per game. J. Ruzevich's 10.6 rebounds per game leads the GLVC. She notched a career-high tying 15 rebounds against UMSL. She has recorded 15 rebounds in a game three times this season.
Ellen McCorkle leads the league with 39 blocked shots. She is 7th in the nation in blocks.
As a team, the Lions are 5th in the nation with 75 total blocked shots.
Averaging 15.5 assists per game, Lindenwood is 5th in the conference.
Making 7.5 3FG per game, the Lions are 3rd in the nation.
With 13.3 offensive boards per contest, Lindenwood is 1st in the conference and in the top-50 in all of Division II.
A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION
McKendree is coached by Kari Kerkhoff. Kerkhoff is 67-92 in her six seasons at the helm.
The Bearcats lost their previous game, 87-84, to Maryville. McKendree leads the GLVC in free throw attempts (392) and FTM (275).
The Bearcats are 2nd in assists in the conference (307).
McKendree is 14th in the GLVC with only 25 blocked shots.
Callie Pohlman's 2.66 assist/turnover ratio is 2nd in the conference.
Sydney Diekhoff is 4th in the league with 83 free throws made. Diekhoff has made 38 3FG this season, which is 4th in the GLVC. Diekhoff has notched 33 steals, good for 7th in the conference.
Erin Stroberg is 8th in the GLVC with 130 total rebounds this season.
