The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (3-1, 0-1 MIVA) fell, 3-0, to McKendree (2-0, 1-0 MIVA) on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lions dropped the first set, 25-20.
• The team recorded 10 kills to McKendree's nine in the first set.
• Lindenwood's attack percentage was -0.026 in the first set.
• In a second set loss, there were two occasions where the score was evened up. The Lions upped their kill total to 12, continuing to out-attack McKendree.
• The final set, a 25-17 loss, included four score ties and five lead changes.
• The Bearcats finished the third set with 17 attacks to Lindenwood's 10.
• The Lions' attack percentage was 0.165 in the contest, while the Bearcats tallied a 0.346 percentage.

BOX SCORE LEADERS

• Diego Negron led the team with nine kills.
• A.J. Lewis and Phil Swartz each recorded a service ace.
• Connor Sheehan recorded 22 set assists to pace the squad.
• Alex Pappas notched two total blocks, while Cal Werths finished with one.
• Negron's 10 digs was the highest total on the team.
