Women's Basketball Squares Off with Missouri S&T

Lindenwood women's basketball (7-5, 7-5 GLVC) looks to bounce back against Missouri S&T (3-12, 3-12 GLVC). The Lions beat the Miners, 87-65, earlier this season.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
Ellen McCorkle has scored 25 points (a career-high) in back-to-back games for the Lions. This season, McCorkle has recorded 21 blocks. She is t-6th for blocks in a single-season in program history. McCorkle is averaging 17.6 points per game over the last six contests.

Devin Fuhring scored 18 points against Drury. Fuhring is now 9th on the all-time scoring list for Lindenwood.

Emily Benzschawel recorded a career-high six points on 2-3 three point attemps against Drury.

Julia Ruzevich is 6th in the nation with seven double-doubles. J. Ruzevich is 20th in Division II with 10.8 boards per game.

As a team, the Lions have the best rebound margin in the GLVC at +8.7, and are 11th in the nation.

Lindenwood averages 17.1 assists per game, which is 2nd in the conference.

A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION
Missouri S&T is coached by Kira Carter. Carter is 3-12 in her coaching career.

The Miners allow the 2nd-most points in the GLVC (76.7).

Missouri S&T is the 2nd-most efficient three point shooting team in the conference (.353).

The Miners allow the 4th-most rebounds per game, at 37.7 per contest.

Laura Rodriguez leads the team with 16.7 points per game.

Alex Kerr is 2nd in the GLVC with 10.1 rebounds per game. She is one of two players averaging double-digit boards. Kerr averages 2.20 blocked shots per game, which leads the conference.

Marta Durk is shooting 42.9 percent on threes, t-2nd in the league.
