The Lindenwood men's soccer team (2-4-0, 2-4-0 GLVC) lost to Southwest Baptist (2-2-1, 2-2-1 GLVC) by a final score of 2-1 on Sunday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
Nick Boyles netted his first career goal as a Lion in the loss.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions got on the board early as Boyles found the back of the net in the 11th minute off a scrambled ball from a
Parkin Harape free kick. Harape was credited with an assist on the goal. Each teams defense tightened up in the half after the goal with each team combining for six shots in the first 45 minutes.

Lindenwood would take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The Bearcats made some adjustments during the break and got an equalizer just 11 minutes into the second half. Southwest Baptist would find the back of the net again in the 66th minute, pouncing on a rebound in front of the Lindenwood goal, making it 2-1 in favor of the Bearcats. Lindenwood would put some pressure on Southwest Baptist' defense late, but the Bearcats would hang on for the 2-1 win.
