Lindenwood men's basketball guard TJ Crockett earned a spot on the NABC Division II All-District first team, representing the Midwest region, the organization announced today.

Crockett finished the 2020-21 season ranked third in NCAA Division II with his 27.5 points per game, which led the entire Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) this season. Only two players nationally scored more points this season than the GLVC leader with 550 points this year. Crockett was also a force at the free throw line in the 2020-21 campaign, sinking 142 of his shots, eclipsed only by one other player in the country. Crockett concluded the season as the GLVC leader in seven different statistical categories, while ranking in the national top three in free throw attempts (162), free throws made (142), points per game (27.5), and total field goal attempts (384).

The University City, Mo. native set the GLVC and Lindenwood record for most points in a game with 54 against McKendree at the end of February. Crockett registered 20 points or more in 17 different games, which was the league lead by nine games.  Additionally, he scored 30 points or more in six different games, which doubled the next player of the list, and earned GLVC Player of the Week honors four times this season.

Crockett was joined by three other GLVC players on the Midwest first team and is the first Lindenwood player to receive a spot on the Division II All-District squad since Corey Arentsen earned a second team all-region selection in 2016.
