GAME OVERVIEW
The game started off with back-and-forth swings of momentum, as the Tritons took advantage near the halfway point of the first 20 minutes.  Missouri-St. Louis took a seven-point lead at the 11:48 mark.  The Lions were able to get three pointers from Brandon Trimble and Romelo Burrell on consecutive possessions, but the Tritons answered and built its lead to eight with less than nine minutes to go in the half.  Trimble hit his second three pointer of the half to make it a 26-21 deficit with 7:51 remaining.

Nearly two minutes later, Cameron Scales drilled a three ball to tie the game at 28-28.  In a span of 12 seconds, Kevin Caldwell Jr. made a layup and quickly got a steal which led to a three-point bucket by TJ Crockett to put the Lions up 35-32.  The Lions were able to hold a lead for the remainder of the half with the help of a deep three by Caldwell Jr., as the Lions took a 43-38 advantage into the break.

The Tritons began to chip away at the Lindenwood lead to start the second frame, as the game was back to even at the 17:43 mark.  Lindenwood took the lead shortly after, and another three pointer by Trimble five minutes into the half put the Lions in front by five points.  The Lions held their largest lead with just under eight minutes to go in the game by a score of 69-60.

Missouri-St. Louis continued to fight back and tied the game yet again with 2:29 remaining.  The Tritons took the lead and held on for the rest of the game, earning a six-point victory over the Lions.  Lindenwood shot 55.6 percent in the first half, but fell off to 31.4 percent shooting in the second half.  The Tritons shot 60.0 percent in the game, with the help of 46 points in the paint.

QUOTABLE
"That's a hard way to end the season for sure," said head coach Kyle Gerdeman.  "These guys gave us everything they had and they were ready to pull off the upset, I couldn't be more proud.  I'm especially proud of our two seniors, TJ and Cam.  Those two maxed out here over the two years with our staff, and as a coach I'm not sure I could ask for more.  They are a big reason why we are moving in the right direction."
