The Lindenwood women's volleyball team (10-5, 10-5 GLVC) secured its fourth-straight victory with a 3-0 win over Maryville (1-15, 1-15 GLVC) on Wednesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions opened up the match with a 25-11 first set victory.
- Lindenwood outkilled Maryville, 15-5, in the opener.
- The team notched two service aces and a .448 attack percentage in the leadoff set.
- After going up 12-8 in the first set, the Lions closed it out on a 13-3 run.
- The second set also went the way of Lindenwood, 25-15.
- For the second-consecutive set, the Lions recorded 15 kills.
- After two sets, and a 2-0 lead, the team tallied five total aces.
- The third and final set gave the Lions a 3-0 sweep 25-13.
- In the third set, Lindenwood matched the first two sets with five service aces.
- As a unit, the Lions recorded 12 kills in the set.
- The team's .462 attack percentage set a new season-best.
- Lindenwood is 12-1 and its last 13 sets.
