The No. 1 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (6-0, 1-0 GLVC) opened conference play with a 20-8 win over McKendree (5-2, 1-1 GLVC) on Saturday night from Lebanon, Ill.

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood outscored McKendree 8-4 in the opening half, including six straight scores after being down 4-2 early in the contest.
Paige Sutton netted both of her goals on the night during that 6-0 run. In the half, Lindenwood outshot McKendree 19-10, while scooping up two more ground balls than the Bearcats.
The Lions gained some separation in the second half with the help of 12 draw controls, outscoring McKendree 12-4 across the second 30 minutes of play.
Emma Arnold scored two of her team-leading four goals in the half, as Lindenwood outshot McKendree 17-6.
