The Lindenwood football team (0-2) lost to NCAA Division I FCS No. 3 South Dakota State (2-0) by a final of 52-7 on Saturday night in Brookings, S.D.
 
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions fell behind early and struggled to find momentum.  Spencer Redd had a solid performance on special teams, as he broke free for a 67-yard kickoff return in the first half.  Drew Seers accumulated all six of his tackles in the first half.  Payton Rose scored the only touchdown for the Lions early in the fourth quarter on an impressive 37-yard reception.
