The Lindenwood women's soccer team (0-3, 0-1 GLVC) fell by a score of 1-0 to Lewis (3-0,1-0 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon from Romeoville, Ill.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lions put together a strong opening half as they compiled seven corner kicks to the Flyers zero. Lindenwood registered five shots on net, including one on frame. Despite all of the opportunities, the game went into halftime scoreless.
The teams continued to trade chances in the second half, as Lindenwood recorded five shots including two on goal across the second 45 minutes of play. The Lions registered the only corner kick of the second half. It would be Lewis who found the back of the net first, however, as the Flyers took a 1-0 lead in the 80th minute.

Mia Corrigan had a late opportunity in the 88th minute, but the Lewis goalkeeper made the stop. The Flyers would hang on and earn the 1-0 victory.
